St George

Ryan went on the muzzleloader hunt. And i had the weekend off of work. So jenna and I went to St george for a vacation. It was so fun. We went to a spa for both of our first times. It was cool. And then did lots of shopping. We took some pictures of each other. I had lots of fun taking pictures instead of being in them, which is a new thing for me.
I had so much fun taking pictures of jenna in St George. I was surprised at how good they turned out, but i shouldn't have been because she is sooo beautiful!!! Here are a few i have edited.

Chain Saw

Ryan cut his leg with a chainsaw at work today. The worst part is he just sent me a text message to tell me, like it was no big deal. I thought he was just teasing at first because who does that? You call your wife if you cut your leg open with a chainsaw!!!
So he was cutting down some brush in a swamp that they are surveying. And it brushed across his knee. When it caught his pants it pulled in the saw. It was pretty small but went in pretty far. It nicked the bone on his knee cap. He got six stitches inside and four on the outside. He says it hurts to stand on or bend but that it is not that bad. He should stop being such a cowboy, and admit that it hurts. It is okay to take sometime off work when you get cut by a chainsaw.
He said the worst part of the whole thing was the huge shot he had to get for all the bacteria. He flinched and was pretty stiffened up for it. The nurse said, "Is it really that bad?" His response was "Have you ever had one of these things?" My husband the quick wit!!!

Kitchen Before and After

We had to re-wire a whole bunch of stuff, only had one plug right over sink! Had to do some sheetrock, texture, and painting. The old wall board was so ugly!! There was a front door that came right into the kitchen, I hated that so we framed over it. We also added a door in between the kitchen and the mud/wash room so you can't hear the dryer running anymore! The floor was not level so we had to tear it down clear to the joists to level it out. Put down wood laminate and got new cabinets!!!
After a while of living there i couldn't take the wall board anymore, but we weren't ready to start
remodeling yet, so i just painted over it.
And then the project began...
This is what the kitchen looked like for about two weeks while waiting for the electrical to get done and leveling the floor. So you can imagine how glad i am to have this project done!!!
This is the right after we got the floor done before the cabinets were put in.
And now it is done. I knew i would like it but I honestly didn't know that it was going to be so nice. I never could have imgained! I love it it so much! My John Deere stuff finally looks classy in the kitchen. Thanks so much for all of your hard work Ryan!!! Love the Kitchen! Love You!!!
