Yep Another One!

Well in about two months time we have went from having three horses, down to one horse, and now we are back up to three! We picked up this paint from Bodie last weekend.  Him and my little weanling still don't have names yet.

Craft Fairs

If you are wondering why I haven't called or texted you lately, hung out with ya, or done any blogging, it's not because I fell off the face of the earth.  I have just been busy busy with craft fairs and building crafts!

I did my first craft fair in Nephi.  I think Ryan was off working cows for somebody...

So I had to take Otto with me, but luckily Jenna came and helped me and we had a 10x10 booth so there was room for the pack-n-play.

And then one in Mt Pleasant.  I was recently called to be one of the Activity Days leaders in our ward.  The first activity I planned with the girls we made some pumpkins out of stuff I had at home.  Well only half of the girls showed up and so i had a bunch of supplies left over.  So I just decided to throw them together and take them to the Mt. Pleasant craft fair with me.  Well I think i took like 9 and an hour after the fair started I only had one left!  So i went home and made a bunch more.  And just about sold all of those too!

So basically I learned from the pumpkins that maybe I should make some other little crafts.  This is where it really went south.  I had about 4 weeks from then to the day after Thanksgiving sale that I planned to do.  So I started working on crafts every night when we got home from work, and every free day that I had!  Thank goodness for Sunday so I could take a break!  Then I found out there was gonna be a craft fair in Levan the week before my big one.  So I had to get all my stuff done even sooner.  Needless to say poor Ryan is tired of crafts and is glad to have his wife and house back to normal now that I don't have any coming up for awhile!

The fair in Levan went really good!

So when we moved into our house one of the sheds had TONS of old doors. When I was trying to figure out what I would do for a back drop in my booth, I thought how cool would it be to use a bunch of old doors!  Boy was I right!  I think it turned out pretty freaking awesome.  And thanks to Mitch for the good idea of how construct it! And A BIG THANKS to Ryan for cutting all the wood for crafts, building my door background, and just in general putting up with CRAFTS for the last month or so!

Here is what my booth looked like at the day after Thanksgiving sale in Spanish Fork.

Here are a few of the other little crafts I was working on...

Otto's First Halloween

We dressed him as a scarecrow.  I couldn't believe he left his hat alone all night.  And I thought for sure that he would pull on the "straw" on his wrists or try to eat it but he didn't even touch it!

We went to the Trunk-or-Treat at the church.  It was a good time.  Otto was happy.  He got to do a lot of people watching.

9 Months

Otto is 9 months old.  Here is a little bit about him....

He weighs 21 lbs and is 28 1/2 inches tall
70% for weight
75% for height
75% for head circumference

He is starting to walk he can take about 4-5 steps.

He hasn't met a food that he doesn't like (hence he is in the 75%)

He takes about a 2 hour nap around 11am and then a short one later in the day.

He is still VERY friendly. He will go to pretty much anyone, and loves to watch people.

He likes to climb the stairs, and will go clear to the top if I am right behind him.

He LOVES socks!  I don't know why but he loves to play with socks, mine, his, or Ryan's it doesn't matter.

He also still really likes tags and straps on things like his cars seat, high chair, or stroller.

He loves to rope.  I am amazed at how much he has it figured out.  If I get the rope out for him he'll drag the steer out himself and throws the rope at it!  Don't worry Olin, Otto will be roping with you in no time!

Our camera has a red light that comes on right before you take a picture.  Whenever he sees that red light he puts on a big cheeser.  Sometime I'll be trying to get an "action" shot but I can't because that little red light goes on and he puts on a big smile! It's so cute though!

No one can make Otto laugh as hard as Ryan.  He has a laugh that you only get to hear when Ryan teases him!  I Love it!

He likes to give kisses, but watch out they usually are open mouth and involve teeth!

Here is our little Otto boy at 9 months.... in his Halloween costume.

Roping @ JC's 50th B-Day Party

Ryan's Uncle JC Housekeeper turned 50 back in October.  His family threw a surprise party for him.  They reserved the arena in Castledale and did some roping.  It was pretty darn fun!

We put out a blanket for Otto to play on, though it wasn't easy to keep him on the blanket.  He played with his Uncle Keaton for a while, then took a nap.
