Let's Catch Up

I finally got around to snagging the pictures from Cindy of Otto's 2nd Birthday! Thanks to all that were able to come and celebrate with us!

He got his own flashlight so he can help dad do chores ...

... A white board to color on ...

... A new Jacket ...

... and some Mickey books and coloring book.  He was crazy about Mickey that month!

On January 26th Brenner and Haley got married.  Cindy put a TON of work into this wedding and it looked AMAZING!

In February we got to watch Whitley for a day. Otto loved having her at our house!

We had a pipe burst in our bathroom.  We had to do a bunch of work to fix everything up.  I am so glad my husband is willing and able to fix that kind of thing.  And he is teaching Otto to be the same way!

This is what happens when you play way to hard all morning :)

I doing my part to teach Otto how to be handy also :) He helps me craft!

One Saturday I was doing dishes and I hear Ryan yell from outside, "Alese come here quick!" So I ran outside thinking Otto must be hurt or something and this is what I see...

Ryan had caught a gopher in a trap and Otto had picked it up.
Only by the string thank goodness!

We did lots of little Easter Egg Hunts at our house.  Otto really didn't care if there was treats in them, he just liked finding them.

The day before Easter Levan town had an Egg Hunt at the park.  They asked me to take pictures of the kids with the Easter Bunny.
Otto was happy to get his picture taken...

Just not with the bunny. lol

Now whenever we go to the park Otto askes me with a tremble in his voice, "Mom where is the Easter bunny at?"

Ryan pushed Otto (and some other kids) on the swings while I took more pictures.

Later that day we went to my mom's house for a picnic and Easter Egg Hunt.

Otto LOVED flying kites with Jenna and Uncle Kelly.

The next morning the Easter Bunny left a trail of Eggs for Otto to find his Easter basket.

Then we dyed Easter Eggs.

The Worwoods let us crash their family tradition with them.  We went and rolled our Easter eggs down the hill with them.  It was so fun!

Love this BEAUTIFUL girl!

That afternoon the Stewart Family came down for a BBQ and I put together a Minute to Win it Easter style.

Otto rode around on Pacey while we played games.  Now he askes about Pacey ALL THE TIME!

Otto sitting on the couch watching Spring sessions of General Conference :)

In between conference sessions we went up Levan canyon with the Worwoods to BBQ and let the boys run around.

Otto was chasing Radley around yelling, "Hey Ryker! Hey Ryker!"  Finally Radley stopped and said, "I'M NOT RYKER!" It was so funny!

One day I caught Otto showing his teddy bear the horses out the window.  I was like, "Oh that is so cute Otto let me take your picture!" ...

A few minutes later he was like Mom come here.. so I did.  He was putting the "cow in the chute" he told me and said, "It's cute mom.  Take my picture!"  It was so funny of course I had to take his picture!

I finally got around to taking Otto's "2 Year Old" pictures (3 1/2 months overdue).

CHEESER!

"Hurry and take my picture Mom.  I am busy!" Lol

He is obsessed with "Riding Bucking Bulls"

We watch Bull Riders all the time, so he has notcied that most of the time their hats come off when they are riding.  So part of the way through he has to throw his hat on the ground.

Then he falls on the ground...

Then he stands up and does the Lane Frost wave!  I love this kid!  He is so funny!

We got a couple pigs!

The day before Cindy's birthday I did a boutique in Spanish Fork with Kortnie and Reclaim-ologists and Other Crafty Chicks.  It was really fun!  While I was there the boys were building her some raised garden beds.

The next day Jory BBQed for us.

And we played some Ladder Golf

On May 18th my friend Gina and I took our kids to the Aquarium.

Isn't Dylan so stinking cute!

I wish I knew what Otto was looking at in this picture.  LOL it must have been good!

Otto LOVED the penquins.  He was herding them like Grandpa herds the cows. LOL He could have stayed there for hours!

Of course he had to ride the frog like a Bull.  Throwing his hat on the ground and all!

The following weekend we went out to Trent and Kortnie's house!  It was WAY overdue and so fun!

We picked up a swimming pool for Otto! Of course he loves it!

Everyday Otto askes me if we can go to Ryker's Park or Ridge's House (The Worwood's)

If he isn't asking to go to Ridge's House, he is asking to go to "Tim's Farm"
We have our colt Skip down there so that Ryan can ride him in the round pen every night.  He is coming along really good!  We plan to bring him home in the next week or so!

A few weeks ago we took Otto fishing up Levan canyon, and BBQed some steaks. I love living close enough to the canyon that we can just decide to do something like that and be packed and up there 15 minutes later!

My good friend Gina came to my Dad's farm and took some family pictures for us!  She did SO GREAT!  I had a hard time narrowing down which ones to share with you...and it is still a bunch :)  I LOVE them!

I love Otto's face in this one!

A couple weeks ago we did a Yard Sale at Cindy's house.  Otto helped Ryan clean the horse trailer out so we could haul all of our crap in it!

Last weekend we went camping on boulder mountain with Allen and Cindy.  Of course we had to get a picture on the Half track :)

Otto fell asleep on the four wheeler ride.

On our way home he just HAD to ride the dinosaur at the Sinclair.

I created a new page (tab across the top) for all the funny things Otto says!
Check it out :)
