Adventure #22 Fishing in Mayfield

Saturday morning we planned to meet Chase & Chelsea Behling up Mayfield canyon to go fishing with them.  They were coming down from Skyline drive.  We planned to meet at the higher lake Town lake so Ryan told Chase it will be the first lake on your right, and we were gonna meet at about 9:30.  Well we got to town lake about 9:30 and this is what it looked like

The dam had broken or been removed so the lake was too empty to fish.  We waited there for a while for Chase & Chelsea and by like 10:15 we figured maybe there was a lake higher that they thought was the first one on the right and we better go look for them. So we drove for a while and when we got to the top Ryan got a text that was from 9:30 said they were running late and just leaving Ferron.  So at least we knew they weren't waiting somewhere else for us.  So we went back down to Town lake to wait for them.  They found us, and we went down to Twin lake and did our fishing.  Ryan caught a fish like 2 minutes after he threw in every cast.  We only fished for maybe an hour and between the two of them they probably caught 10 fish or more. IT was lots of fun. After fishing we had hot dogs and chili and a few other things then called it a day.
