Adventure #5 Trip to Ioka

We headed out from our house about 8:30 Friday Morning. We had to make a couple stops but not long either one of them. Our truck overheated a couple times going up Indiana canyon. after which we made two mental notes. Go out there over Strawberry instead, and second we need to get that fixed this summer.
We got there and went horse riding right away. We rode around the pastures that are around Trent's house. It was fun and our horses did really good. That night Trent made us dutch oven Chicken enchiladas and peach cobbler. DELICIOUS!!!
We didn't get done with dinner til I dunno 9 or 9:30. We all wanted to play a game, but by then I think we were all so beat, we just sat around watching TV until someone finally said let's go to bed.
Saturday morning right after we got up Trent's friend Logan called to see if he wanted to come ride horse and sort cows with him, so Ryan and Trent did that after they had fed the cows. and moved over a new batch they had gotten the night before.
So while Trent & Ryan were gone, Jaylee put her horse away that she had used to move cows, and then KO, I, and the kids went into town to run a few errands, and KO took me around a little bit of Ioka. I say a little bit but it was probably like all of Ioka. LOL
Olin playing baseball with himself. It was so cute!!! It was like when kids throw the ball up in the air then hit it. but he would just throw the ball up a little bit and forward then just swing his stick! What a cutie! (Sorry my finger is in the way I forgot the camera and had to take all of our pictures with my phone, which is really awkward to hold while taking pictures.)
After the boys got back we had lunch. As soon as we were done with lunch Jaylee asked if she could go play outside with Olin. Of course Olin wouldn't go with out his best bud Uncle Ryan, so he gave Ryan the come with me sign. Olin ate some chips at lunch and dropped a couple so Ryan said. "I'll come but let me pick up Olin's mess first." and Jaylee sighs and goes, "Well that's just Uncle Ryan for ya!" It was so funny. we laughed our butts off and are still laughing.
These kids just love Ryan (all kids do) especially Olin! (Even though Olin looks like he is about to cry he really was happy) Its funny because most kids are afraid of Men especially men with facial hair. But kids just love My Ryan because he is so dang loveable. But hey "That's Just uncle Ryan for ya!"
We packed up and headed for home about 4pm saturday afternoon so we could get home before darm. It was such a FUN trip. Sunday was a beautiful day we spent most of it walking around town or just sitting outside in the nice weather. We watered our lawn for the first time this year! And talked about some of the projects we want to do out there. We have done most of our projects in the house but we have deemed this summer/spring "the year of the yard." There is a lot we want to do out there we won't be able to afford this summer, but we should be able to get it pretty cleaned up! I'm excited the yard was my favorite part when we looked at the house. It probably still is!!!
