Adventures of Alese & Ryan

Since i have Saturdays off now and even every other Friday we decided that this summer we are going to do something together every weekend. Have what we refer to as an "adventure" every weekend. Nothing too extravagant maybe just a horse ride or go fishing. Or maybe we'll go camping or out of town, maybe even just a double date or maybe go to seven peaks. We both just have so many of our own hobbies, or if we don't have anything going on separate we end up doing pretty much nothing. So now we have a plan to break out of that funk and have fun together.
Here is adventure #1...
Ryan took me to the Fremont Indian State Park. He grew up going there in scouts and with family so he knew his way around.
It was lots of fun!
We started on the paved trail behind the museum. Here is the writings we found there...
This was up on in the mountains a little bit. And you can't really tell but the rock I am sitting on is only half way sitting on a ledge that had a pretty good drop off. (if you don't know I am sort of afriad of heights and steep ledges mostly) I did okay getting over there, but then I made Ryan come help me down because i was kinda freaking out :)

This was Ryan's way of taking a picture of the two of us together (our reflection in a window)

Love him! He is so funny!

This was our map of all the different hikes. We wanted to go to more that weren't by the museum but we couldn't keep it sense it was a "loaner" so my way-too-smart-for-me husband said duh Alese just take a picture of it. Worked Great!

We went to trail #2 and hiked a ways looking for writings and didn't find any but we did find this cool cavern like place back in the rocks and took a couple more pictures.

So then after we had hiked all this way (and it was actually so warm that day it was hot) as we were heading back to the car, there were the writings right by the road. lol

Ry had to practice his photography skills... He is pretty proud of the way my hair is blown :)

Of course I had to pull a Wayne Anderson face!

Our last hike was up to the Cave of 100 hands.

We were pretty interested by this one. We went to Escalante and some other places down there for our first anniversary. we stayed at a bed and breakfast that had some writings on there property and they had this same one there. Same size and everything. they didn't know what it meant but they reffered to it as the "Smoking Cowboy."

So it was a fun adventure. Nice to get outside in the warm and get some excercise, see some neat stuff, and spend time with each other!

That was two weeks ago. Our Adventure this past week was we drove to Sigurd to a junk yard to get a rim for our car sense we had a bent one. Also in Salina Ryan wanted to go to Burns Saddlery and I wanted to go to Denny's for their seasoned fries (YUM!), so we did that too.

I am so excited for the many Adventures to come!
